Ark Group is proud to bring you KM Asia 2007, a pan-Asian event, now in its seventh year. Ark Group has leveraged its position at the heart of the KM community by collaborating with KM practitioners to ensure that the direction and content of the event adds real value to your time at KM Asia 2007.

You will see advances in KM and collaborative methods, coupled with content management approaches that can improve the overall efficacy of your knowledge strategies. We are bringing forth new initiatives including a Knowledge Café which will provide added networking opportunities, a speed debate with interactive voting, and innovative presentations that will provide examples of both international best practice and local Asian accomplishments.

The event will bring together the most accomplished KM and CM practitioners, case studies, and world-renowned experts. You will have the opportunity to join your peers and thought leaders to discuss, debate, analyse and create strategy-based approaches to improving your knowledge management capability.

Knowledge Café interactive session

Facilitated by David Gurteen,
Founder, Gurteen Knowledge Community

A Gurteen Knowledge Café is a simple means for a group of people to have an open, creative conversation on a topic of mutual interest to gain a deeper collective understanding of a subject and the issues involved.

During this café, David Gurteen will discuss:

  • The role of conversation and dialogue in business
  • The background, purpose and benefits of the Knowledge Café
  • The Gurteen Knowledge Café process

He will then facilitate a Knowledge Café on the theme “What are the barriers to knowledge sharing and innovation within organizations and how do we overcome them?”

David has run 100s of such Knowledge Cafés over the last few years – this year alone in Moscow, Washington DC, Phoenix Arizona, Jakarta and Stavanger in Norway.

They are great learning and networking events. Everyone engages with the theme and some tremendous insightful, energetic conversations take place.

Better still the café format is one that you can take back with you and use in your own organisations to help create a more collaborative and innovative culture.

This café has limited availability, so you will need to register to attend. See registration page for details.
