KM Arena
Registration

After its debut and success at KM Australia, KM Asia 2007 is proud to bring you a unique networking opportunity called KM Arena.

Simple but effective!

Once at KM Asia, if there is someone at the conference you would like to meet, you can request that they meet you in the KM Arena.

How to arrange a meeting in KM Arena:

  1. Look at the attendee list located at the Ark Group stand to see if there is anyone in particular you would like to meet
  2. Head to the KM Arena and tell the Ark Group staff both your name and the name of the person/s you would like to meet
  3. Watch the screen to see when the person you requested enters the Arena
  4. Introduce yourself and begin networking!

Alternatively you can pre-arrange a meeting with someone at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/kmaustralia

We encourage you to suggest topics online that you would be interested in discussing with other attendees. By posting in this group, you can generate some initial discussion, and then make plans to meet up in the KM Arena to explore the topic further.

We have positive expectations about this practical exercise and anticipate that this year’s delegates will enjoy embracing the enhanced networking opportunities!

Here is what people said about KM Arena at KM Australia:

Dave Snowden, Cognitive Edge

from after-action to in-action review

I did the opening keynote at KM Australia this morning. A good sized audience and great feedback. They also have a meeting place where I have been settled for the day catching up on email and RSS feeds, and having lots and lots of interesting conversations. Its a good idea, a lot of people find it difficult to ask questions after a keynote, but here they join in on conversations, see that you are open to anyone and join in. Its those exchanges that are amongst the most valuable.

The event was attended by 200+ people with a great idea called the "KM Arena" which was a meeting place where people could network and talk to presenters and keynote speakers.
